I needed a change of pace. However this is difficult when you have such a large group on such a small piece of paper! I prefer drawing either larger, or just one subject. The one thing I did enjoy doing was to try and develop each dogs character.

This one was a bit of a different style than you have been using. I like it because it captures the essence of the puppies rather than too much detail. The famous sculptor Constantin Brancusi tried to capture that 'essence' in his sculptures. He attempted to pare down the subject as much as possible. Good job on capturing the character of each of the puppies with minimal detail.
