The Little Lion

This is where I was on the lion after about, four hours of work. I always do the eyes first , because if I don't capture these there is no reason to move forward on the picture!

Ella

This was my very first dog, which I did as gift for a good friend of mine. I had never worked with pastels before, but found that they were interesting and a totally different approach from watercolors.

At Work in My Outdoor Studio in Mexico

Here I am working on a pastel in my 'outdoor studio' in Mexico. What an incredible setting to create art in.

Wistful Pepe

An old Doberman that has been a family pet for years. The owners were interested in having a pet portrait. This piece is now in a private collection in Mexico.
